WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

A Trunk Show is a type of special event where a designer is able to bring in a variety of styles of wedding dresses, for a limited time only, that aren’t normally available in the boutique. A typical trunk show involves the bridal designer sending Blue Bridal Boutique about 8 to 15 dresses that are in-store exclusively for one weekend only. This offers you a great opportunity as a bride-to-be to browse brand new dresses that you probably have never have seen before and may not see again in Colorado after the trunk show.

These hand-selected wedding dresses are offered with a special discount on the order during the show (yay, discounts!) and the dress is customized in whatever way you decide! Before you come for a Trunk Show, you’ll definitely want to make an appointment to ensure that you have the best and most personalized experience possible.

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH A TRUNK SHOW

At the beginning of the appointment, your bridal consultant (aka Bridalista) will sit down and chat with you to determine what you are looking for when it comes to style as well as what would best suit your venue and personal style, while also taking into consideration your ideal wedding dress budget. During your consultation, your bridal consultant will listen to your ideas and learn which styles you will feel the most comfortable wearing while also incorporating a few styles that are a little outside of the box so that you can determine which dress will be the best style for you!

Once you’ve chatted about your ideal wedding vision, you will decide on a few dress styles that you like and the consultant will make some suggestions. Your Blue Bridal Bridalista will pick out some accessories to help you complete your ideal bridal look. A trunk show is definitely a time when your Bridalista will encourage you to say, “Yes to the dress!” if you find the right one because dresses are available only for a limited time and the discounts are only available during the show. After all, this is a day all about you and taking those first steps toward a new life with your special someone!
